My fortune?

I opened a fortune cookie today to find this fortune greeting me:
"You will find yourself in a position of dignity in the end."

Hmmm......Good to know but I didn't think fortune cookies gave out fortunes that far in advance, which then leads me to the conclusion that 1. the end is near for me which is disturbing or 2. this particular batch of fortune cookies was meant for Chinese food deliveries going to retirement homes. I prefer to think that it was the latter.
