Atari

I'm not old enough to remember when these came out. I received a hand me down one from one of my relatives when they went off to college. I can remember playing an Indiana Jones game on the Atari. I don't remember much about it except having to save him from a big rolling ball just like in the movie. It was pretty sweet at the time but then Nintendo came out the next year and I was instantly hooked on Super Mario Bros.

Vintage Western Electric Advertisement

This is an old ad for phones available in a variety of colors from the Bell telephone company. I remember my great aunt had a phone in the horrific green shade shown in the ad. She always had the ringer of the phone set to an obnoxiously loud volume which made me jump in terror every time I heard it as a child.

I took these photos at a lovely stream that is located on the farm that I grew up on. I used to love sitting by the water hidden among the trees reading books throughout the summer. I still go there today to enjoy the sounds of the water and nature. It is one of my favorite places to be.
