I took this photograph on a rainy day and I wasn't quite sure how it would turn out. The sky had finally lit up a bit when I took it. I think it has a peaceful and soothing quality to it.
An authentic log cabin nestled among a forest of rain-freshened green. My son-in-law is from Danville and I have never seen such a variety of trees as are seen on the campus of Center College there.
Hello Brandy: Your posts contain so many very wonderful atmospheric images of which this one is no exception. It is so interesting to see pictures of places unknown to us and of which we are unlikely ever to visit!
We have discovered your blog, very happily, by chance and have signed ourselves as Followers.
I know what you mean about seeing interesting pictures of places that you may never visit. That's what I love about photo blogs, the fact that you can in a sense "travel" and see things you never would see otherwise.

You're the second person that's mentioned that place in Danville. I may have to check it out. I love trees.
